Training - SPiN Workshop
CPSR’s popular Stroke Program in Neurorecovery (SPiN) workshop, designed for trainees, took place on July 15, 16 and 19, 20! The next SPiN will take place in 2022.
Results of the 2021 SPiN post-workshop survey revealed:
- 100 per cent of attendees would recommend the workshop to other trainees
- 100 per cent said they would attend again next year
- 95 per cent said the educational value was excellent

Ottawa Stroke Summit, Friday, Nov. 26, 2021:
The Ottawa Stroke Summit is going virtual this year with a content-filled program involving regional, national and international stroke experts. For the first time, the prestigious Hnatyshyn Lecture, Canada’s flagship national stroke lecture, will be held in conjunction with the Summit as well as a new lecture (announcement is coming soon!) that focuses on individuals living with stroke who have made a significant contribution to Canada’s stroke community. The Summit, co-chaired by stroke neurologist Dr. Grant Stotts and stroke physiatrist Dr. Debbie Timpson, is accredited, open to all, and includes a broad range of clinical topics, breakout sessions and the latest research news. CPSR is involved in the planning committee.
