Highlights of the Conference and Target Audience
Over the course of 3 days, this digital conference will bring together stroke recovery research leaders and the clinical care community from around the world to share new research findings and the next big things in the field. Our goal is to improve the delivery of stroke rehabilitation, reduce disability, and restore lives impacted by stroke across the globe.
As a truly international and interdisciplinary conference featuring more than 55 speakers from every continent, we welcome wide participation from university- and hospital-based researchers in stroke, neurologists, physiatrists, family doctors, nurses, trainees, policy makers, and allied health professionals who work with stroke patients (physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and psychologists).
Over the course of 3 days, clinical and research sessions will explore:
- adaptive trial designs and efficiency in clinical trials
- global challenges of delivering stroke rehabilitation care
- innovative personalized rehabilitation care and personalized neurorehabilitation
- how to best support young stroke patients and their carers
- and much more.
A plenary session on the final day, Brag and Steal, will offer space for attendees to share successes and encourage others to draw inspiration in order to improve practice, create efficiencies, advance research, and promote recovery. Please view the complete agenda.
