The CPSR National Trainee Association is planning a career development event on May 7. The purpose is to discuss experiential challenges in academia, and to provide opportunities for networking and mentorship.
The informal event will be divided into sections, including a discussion about academic horror stories, imposter syndrome, and a peer-mentoring roundtable discussion. Speakers include a slate of Ottawa research leaders: Baptiste Lacoste, Dale Corbett, Diane Lagace, Lisa Sheehy and Jodi Edwards.
