The Canadian Partnership for Stroke Recovery is a unique partnership that brings together organizations from across Canada and around the world to focus on practice-changing research with the biggest potential impact.
While each partner on its own is doing extraordinary work, together the partners – all of whom invest directly in CPSR – are accelerating advances in stroke recovery.
Partners include the University of Ottawa, The Ottawa Hospital, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Baycrest Health Sciences, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, Memorial University of Newfoundland, the University of British Columbia and the University of Calgary/Hotchkiss Brain Institute.
“Heart & Stroke works closely with the CPSR as valuable partners and leaders in stroke recovery. CPSR-funded research projects such as tele-rehabilitation, and knowledge exchange resources including Stroke Engine and the Evidence-Based Review of Stroke Rehabilitation contribute significantly to Heart & Stroke’s evidence-based stroke best practice recommendations, which set the bar for stroke-care delivery across Canada.
Our unique and collaborative partnership addresses an urgent need to advance research into new and better ways to help people recover from stroke.”
