CanSTAR est une association de stagiaire faisant parti de la plateforme CanStroke Essais post-AVC (CanStroke), de la plateforme d&rsquo;essais cliniques StrokeCog (StrokeCog), et de la plateforme canadienne de stimulation non-invasive (CanStim). Cette initiative a pour objectif de cr\u00e9er des opportunit\u00e9s favorisant la collaboration, le mentorat et le d\u00e9veloppement professionnel \u00e0 travers la communit\u00e9 de chercheurs et de cliniciens en AVC \u00e0 travers le Canada et le monde. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CanSTAR se consacre \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un environnement o\u00f9 les stagiaires peuvent \u00eatre en contact, apprendre et s\u2019\u00e9panouir au sein du dynamique monde de la recherche et du soin en mati\u00e8re d\u2019AVC. experiential translational workshop, which has been successfully running since 2003, provides trainees will have hands-on interactive exposure to ongoing clinical research in active trial settings at partnering academic institutions. Trainees will be required to commit to a minimum term of&nbsp;one year. No previous experience sitting on governance committees is necessary. The program will include online education modules to familiarize members with governance structures, EDI in governance, effective communication and decision-making in committees, and how to chair an executive committee meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applications for the Governance Observership are ongoing<\/strong>. partnering platforms (CanStroke, StrokeCog, and CanStim), with a mix of experience in clinical trials and basic science research. <strong>Benefits of becoming a CanSTAR Executive Committee Chair:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Exposure within CanStroke, StrokeCog, CanStim and the broader stroke research community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing connections with a large network of stroke research trainees, who are your future colleagues and collaborators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience as the Chair of a national association that you can highlight on your CV and within award\/funding and job applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The EC meets bi-weekly for one (1) hour to plan and coordinate CanSTAR activities.<br>Successful applicants will serve a one year term of committee membership, with the possibility of a second year renewal. Open to all research trainees (e.g., graduate student, post-doctoral research fellow, clinical fellow involved in research, etc.) working in the area of stroke research.
