This practicum, funded by the StrokeCog Clinical Trials Training Platform, offers individuals a unique opportunity to enhance their research expertise by spending time in a specialized lab outside of their home institution. Tailored to the specific needs of the applicant, the practicum provides an immersive experience focused on clinical trials related to stroke and vascular cognitive impairment. Participants will collaborate with leading experts, gaining hands-on experience with advanced research methodologies, data collection, and analysis techniques that are critical for conducting high-quality clinical trials. The practicum, developed in collaboration with the host institution, aims to strengthen participants’ skills in key areas such as patient recruitment, neuroimaging, cognitive assessments, and trial protocol implementation. This experience is designed to prepare participants to make significant contributions to clinical trials research in stroke and vascular cognitive impairment.

StrokeCog is offering up to $5,000 to support each clinical trial practicum. More details, including how to apply, can be found HERE.
